Configure Symantec Live Update to Use Passive FTP (All Windows)

Norton LiveUpdate 1.3 and higher defaults to using active FTP. This tweak allows you to configure it to use passive FTP instead.

Open your registry and find the key below.

Create a new DWORD value named "UsePassiveFtpMode" and set it to equal "1" to enable passive FTP mode.

Restart Live Update for the change to take effect.
